Nottingham Forest will be looking to bridge the gap between themselves and the playoffs with a win over sixth-placed Watford at The City Ground on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).The Reds were unfortunate not to take all three points from last weekend’s east midlands derby but must now turn their attentions towards beating a Watford side who have won four of their last five league games.
The reverse fixture did not end happily for Forest as Daniel Ayala saw red in a 2-0 defeat at Vicarage Road last month.
Chris Cohen is expected to be fit to face Watford, despite sustaining a back injury against Derby.
He stayed the distance at Pride Park after having a pain-killing injection at half-time and should get the green light to play on Saturday.
Forest do not have any fresh injury concerns but are still expected to be without Andy Reid and Daniel Ayala (both hamstring problems), while Marcus Tudgay (shoulder) and Adlene Guedioura (away on African Cup of Nations duty) remain unavailable.
Watford will have Daniel Pudil available again after the Czech Republic international defender missed the win over Huddersfield due to a family illness.

Watford - 11th
The 24 year old striker brought a largely frustrating spell with Watford to an end earlier this month when he joined Preston.
Garner signed an 18-month contract at Deepdale after being released from his deal with Watford for whom he scored just once in 27 games and spent the first half of this season on loan at Carlisle United.
That represented his second spell with Carlisle as Forest had paid the Cumbrian outfit £1milllion to take Garner to The City Ground in the summer of 2008.
However, he struggled to live up to expectations with The Reds and scored 10 goals in 55 league and cup appearances for the club.
He had loan spells with Huddersfield and Scunthorpe before joining Watford in 2011.
