Senior professional development coach John Pemberton was disappointed with his Nottingham Forest Development Squad's second half performance in this afternoon's defeat at home to Birmingham City.A 69th-minute Marcel Henry-Francis strike was enough to see-off The Reds.
Pemberton said: "I'm disappointed in the result but more so the second half performance. Other than the Huddersfield game it was probably the worst we've played.
"Birmingham put us under a lot of pressure all game - we coped well in the first half but became scrappy after the break.
"We have a style of play which teams aren't going to come and try to match. They get organised, work hard and press certain areas but I'll always encourage us to do the same stuff under pressure - it is a good test.
"But we made some poor decisions and conceded a really poor goal.
"That said, we had enough chances to win it - but you have to take them."
