Paint Donington Park Red

15 January 2013

The Clough Taylor People’s Run is a new 10km run or walk at the famous Donington Park circuit held on Sunday 10th March to pay tribute to two remarkable Forest legends – Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

Forest fans can say thank you and mark Clough and Taylor’s incredible contribution to the club by giving up a morning to run (or jog or walk) 10km (6.2 miles) in aid of local charities CP Sport, Hope Against Cancer and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign – charities chosen by the Clough and Taylor families, the organisers and sponsors.

Although you need to be over 13 to take part in the 10km event, there will also be a 1km run for under 13s on the same day, so everybody is welcome.

Forest Red or Rams White?
When you enter you will be asked to choose whether you would like your T-shirt in Forest Red or Rams White (Neutral Blue is also available). Which will be the predominant colour on the day? Can we paint Donington Park red? Or will it be a sea of Derby White? That’s for you to decide!

More than 5,000 people from across the East Midlands are expected to take part and everyone who finishes the event will receive a special commemorative medal to remember the day.

For more details and to enter online (or to print a postal entry form) visit www.CloughTaylorPeoplesRun.co.uk. You can also follow the event on Twitter @CloughTaylorRun and on Facebook (CloughTaylorPeoplesRun).

Run (or walk) for Brian, for Peter, for charity, for Forest.
