Nottingham Forest have landed Chilean international Gonzalo Jara Reyes on loan from West Brom for the remainder of the season.The 27 year old right back will train with his new team-mates tomorrow and will be in the squad for Saturday’s Kids for a Quid game against Peterborough at The City Ground (kick-off 3pm).
Chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi said: “Gonzalo boasts vast experience of football at both club and international level and I’m sure he will be a fantastic addition to our squad. I’m delighted to welcome him to The City Ground.”
Jara Reyes started his career in his native Chile with CD Huachipato and Colo Colo before attracting the attention of West Brom.
He moved to The Hawthorns in the summer of 2009 in a £1.4million deal and helped The Baggies clinch promotion to the Premier League in his first season at the club.
He clocked-up more than 30 appearances the following season and had two loan spells with Brighton last season, playing 14 times.
Jara Reyes has been capped more than 50 times by Chile and played for his nation in the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
