Adlene Guedioura has set off on his African Cup of Nations adventure.The midfielder has flown out to Algeria to link-up with his team-mates as they step up their preparations for the tournament in South Africa.
They have a friendly against the host nation next week before launching their round of group games against Tunisia on January 22.
Guedioura, who was a member of the Forest side beaten 3-0 at Blackburn yesterday, could be absent from Club duty for up to a month depending on Algeria’s progress in the competition.
Meanwhile, Marcus Tudgay has returned to The City Ground from his loan spell with Barnsley after breaking a collarbone while in action for The Tykes against Blackburn at the weekend.
