Andy Reid has told Forest Player that he is enjoying working under new boss Billy Davies.Davies, who made a welcome return to the Club last week, has been busy preparing for his first game back against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
And Reid, who arrived at The City Ground shortly after Davies’ first Forest reign, has reported a positive atmosphere amongst the players.
He said: “It’s been enjoyable. Everything has been at a really high tempo and intensity – we’ve all been trying to impress the new manager. When he came in he said that everybody’s got a clean slate and that we all must work for a place in the side.
“He’s all about high-tempo, which is what we need at the moment. Things have been difficult of late but if we can get more intensity into our play with the quality we’ve got, we’ll get results.
“Bolton will be a tough game – similarly to us they will feel that they have underachieved so far this season. We know they have good players but so do we.
“If we impose our game on them then we can win.”
If you would like to witness Billy’s homecoming first hand, tickets for the game are still available in-person at the Ticket Office, online at www.nffcretail.com or by calling 0871 226 1980 (calls are charged at 10p per minute, mobile rates may vary).
