Interim head of academy Gary Brazil has declared his Nottingham Forest side as underdogs ahead of their Youth Cup quarter-final clash with Bolton at The City Ground tomorrow night (kick-off 7pm).The Reds beat Cardiff, Rochdale and Huddersfield to get this far but if they are to reach the semi-finals they must find a way past a Bolton side who beat Tottenham 8-4 at White Hart Lane in the last round.
And while he knows it will be a tough task, Brazil told Forest Player that his side is relishing the challenge.
He said: “Bolton are going to provide us with a really strong test – one which we are looking forward to. Our lads are well up for it.
“It’s probably the first game we have gone into as underdogs. If Bolton can go down to White Hart Lane and score eight goals against Spurs it is obvious that we are going to have our work cut out tomorrow night.
“But we’re at The City Ground again and hopefully plenty of fans will come down and support us.”
Admission for the game is priced at £3 adults and £1 concessions.
