Billy Davies was thrilled with the work ethic of his Nottingham Forest side as they ran out 2-0 winners over Charlton at The Valley this afternoon.Second half goals from Radoslaw Majewski and Henri Lansbury put the game beyond the hosts, who before the break had seen Yann Kermogant dismissed for kicking out at Greg Halford.
And Davies told Forest Player that he was delighted with what he saw in the capital.
He said: “You’ve got to work hard away from home and I thought we did that today. Our attitude was excellent.
“Everyone from the goalkeeper to the front two were magnificent. It would be easy for me to single people out because there were some outstanding individual performances but the whole team’s work ethic was great today.
“This isn’t an easy place to come to and Charlton are a difficult team to play against so I have to give full credit to our players.
“Our supporters were also top class and I’d like to extend my thanks to them once again.”
