Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has insisted that his team’s philosophy won’t change when he takes charge of his first away game back with the club.Forest fans have been treated to some excellent football at The City Ground since the Scot’s return and the new boss has revealed that he has no intention of changing tack despite Charlton’s home advantage on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
Speaking exclusively to Forest Player, Davies said: “Our philosophies won’t change but we know that Charlton will try and put us under pressure because they are at home.
“It’s the first time I’ll have seen us away from home and I want us to be defensively sound from front to back. We want to be difficult to beat.
“We know offensively that we have got some very good players who can create and score goals and I need the whole team to continue producing the same levels of work rate and enthusiasm to help us win as many points as possible between now and the end of the season.”
