A ‘Thank You’ From Fawaz

Chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi has expressed his gratitude to fans for their support ahead of Nottingham Forest’s match against Huddersfield Town at The City Ground tomorrow evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Billy Davies will take charge of his second game in quick succession for the visit of The Terriers and his chairman has issued a big ‘thank you’ to fans ahead of the npower Championship clash, and a ‘good luck’ message to Billy Davies and his team.

“We have the best supporters in the world at Nottingham Forest, and I just want to say a big ‘thank you’ to you all for getting right behind Billy and the players and for being such an important part of this club.

“You travelled in great numbers to our games against Birmingham City and Bristol City, and are always there - loud and strong - whenever we’re at home.

“You are the real heart and soul of the club. I know that Billy was delighted with the reception he received on Saturday. Your support is a great motivator for the team  and I am convinced that we can look forward to a bright and successful future together.

“Your support has been a huge help to me, the staff and the players of Nottingham Forest and I know that this will continue tomorrow night and for the months and years to come.

“I hope that our discounted ticket prices for the Huddersfield match will go some way towards thanking you for your tremendous loyalty and that we can look forward to a thrilling end to the season.”
