Loan Report

1 December 2013

Nottingham Forest may have had a free weekend but five Reds were in action for their loan clubs yesterday and there was a mixed bag of results.

Ishmael Miller was on target with a 53rd-minute strike as he helped Yeovil Town to claim their biggest away win in 15 months with a stunning 3-0 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.

Fellow front man Marcus Tudgay made his return to Oakwell as he completed 59 minutes for Barnsley. He was powerless to prevent The Tykes from going down to a 3-0 defeat at home to Birmingham though as manager David Flitcroft was sacked soon after the final whistle.

Guy Moussi was also on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline as he played 90 minutes for Millwall in their defeat at new league leaders Leicester City. The Frenchman won’t be available for The Lions when they face The Reds on Tuesday night.

Following Sean O’Driscoll’s sacking at Bristol City this week, Simon Gillett was part of The Robins side that travelled to Preston. The midfielder played the whole game as the Ashton Gate outfit fell to a 1-0 loss while his fellow Red Stephen McLaughlin was an unused substitute.

Young midfielder David Morgan also played 90 minutes as he helped Tamworth reach the next round of the FA Trophy. The Northern Ireland Under 21 international has extended his loan with The Lambs and was part of the side as they beat Macclesfield 2-0 yesterday.
