Members of the Nottingham Forest first team squad completed their annual Christmas visit to the Queen’s Medical Centre this afternoon.Greg Halford, Radoslaw Majewski, Jack Hobbs, Karl Darlow, Dorus de Vries, Andy Reid, Henri Lansbury and David Vaughan all descended on the hospital’s children’s ward to hand out gifts purchased through the 2013 Toy Appeal eBay auction.
A lot of hard work went into organising the day and Forest media and communications manager Ben White was delighted with the effort of all involved.
He said: “Preparation for the visit started months ago and thanks to everyone who played their part in the build up, we were able to spread a little festive joy to the children and their families who are unfortunate to be in hospital over the Christmas period.”
“I must express my gratitude to all supporters who bid on the eBay auction and would also like to thank the staff at the QMC for yet another warm welcome and for their terrific continued support of this important annual event.”
