Nottingham Forest have completed a deal to bring Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson back to The City Ground for an undisclosed fee.The 27 year old has secured a return to his hometown club by putting pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.
Wilson departed for the Scottish champions in the summer of 2011 and picked up two SPL titles and a Scottish Cup winners’ medal in a successful spell over the border.
He also put in two exemplary performances against Barcelona in the group stages of last season’s Champions League, playing a big part in The Bhoys’ famous victory over the Spanish giants at Celtic Park as Neil Lennon’s men progressed to the knockout stages of the competition.
Wilson played all 90 minutes of Celtic’s Uefa Cup third round qualifying win over Elfsborg last night but, now back at The City Ground, his focus has switched to helping The Reds achieve their ambitions this season.
Wilson’s shirt sponsorship is available from £645 + VAT. For more information, call the Commercial team on 0115 982 4450, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
