International Update

Several Nottingham Forest players have been called up to their respective international squads for the upcoming round of World Cup qualifiers.

Billy Davies’ men have made a tremendous start to the campaign and the impending international break will allow him and his staff to take stock after a hectic opening month.
 
While some players will use the time to recharge their batteries ahead of what will be a busy Autumn period, a number of first-teamers will disperse across the globe to represent their nations.

Jamie Mackie – Scotland

Gonzalo Jara Reyes - Chile
World Cup qualifier – South America Group
Venezula (H) – 6 September

Spain (N) 10 September
 
Dimitar Evtimov (Bulgaria) and David Morgan (Northern Ireland) have also been called up for the latest UEFA European Under 21 Championship qualifiers, while Greek youngster Ilias Polimos will be on duty with his country’s Under 19s for much of September.
