Nottingham Forest striker Darius Henderson has told Forest Player that The Reds have ‘every chance’ of picking up points at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).The 31 year old believes that morale in the squad is high after a good start to the season and that teamwork is the key to success at Ewood Park this weekend.
Speaking ahead of the match, he said: “We’re looking forward to the games at the moment but we have to have a good mentality and work hard, as with every game in the Championship.
“To do well at Ewood Park we’re going have to work well as a team and if we can do that then, with a bit of luck, we will pick up some points.”
Successive wins over Huddersfield Town and Hartlepool United have got Forest‘s season off to a flying start and Henderson admits that the squad must make winning a habit as soon as possible.
“We’re two in two at the moment so it is definitely a step in the right direction. It is early days as far as the season is concerned but we like to get the wins in as early as possible to build momentum.”
