Billy Davies: Confident And Positive

16 August 2013

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has told Forest Player that his side are in a ‘confident and positive’ mood ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against Bolton at The City Ground.

The Reds have won all three of their opening matches, conceding only once, but on Saturday face another difficult test against Dougie Freedman’s Trotters (kick-off 3pm).

And The Reds’ manager is fully aware of the dangers the Lancashire side possess.

He said: “Bolton are a very big side. They probably have one of the better squads in the Championship, if not one of the most expensive. They have enough quality to pose a threat from the middle to the front and they are dangerous both from set pieces and on the counter attack.

“We know what we’re facing – we’re facing a club who, like ourselves, will be looking to achieve at least a top-six finish this season.

“But I don’t separate anyone in the Championship irrespective of squad spend, the club’s tradition or their strength in depth. We are going in to the game in a very confident and positive mood and we will do all we can to pick up points.”

Tickets are still available for the Bolton clash and can be bought online at www.nffcretail.com, in store at the Ticket Office or by calling 0871 226 1980 (calls cost 10p per minute, mobile rates may vary).
