£5000 To Kick Start The Season

19 August 2013

Forest supporters Richie Wheatcroft and David Cross had double cause for celebration on the opening day of the season.

At half-time during our 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town, Richie became the lucky winner of The Forest Foundation’s £5,000 jackpot after his number was drawn out of the hat last by Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead.

As Richie was away on holiday, his old school friend and fellow season ticket-holder sprang into action to collect the prize on his behalf.

The Forest Foundation was formed to raise vital funds to support The Nigel Doughty Academy and Forest players of the future, while at the same time giving members a closer link to the club and the chance to win cash prizes and ‘money can’t buy’ Nottingham Forest experiences.

For as little as £2.25 per week you can enjoy the following benefits:

- Ticket priority for important matches
- Opportunity to attend exclusive events featuring Q&As with our first team players
- Discounted Robin’s Reds Membership for your child or grandchild
- Membership pack including an official letter of acceptance, exclusive Nottingham Forest gift and your membership card
- Regular e-letters

If you want to help generate valuable funds for our Academy there are plenty of ways to join The Forest Foundation. Head online to www.theforestfoundation.co.uk, email fada@nottinghamforest.co.uk or call 0115 982 4317.
