Radi: ‘I Can’t Wait’

25 April 2013

Nottingham Forest midfielder Radoslaw Majewski has told Forest Player that he ‘can’t wait’ for Saturday’s trip to Millwall (kick-off 3pm).

The Polish playmaker has been a regular fixture in Billy Davies’ side since the Scot’s return to The City Ground and, with the season drawing to a close, he is determined to help The Reds into the npower Championship playoffs.

Much has been said about the potential final-day showdown with Leicester City next Saturday but Majewski insists that the players’ sole focus is on returning from London with three points this weekend.

He said: “I can’t wait for this game. Everyone is looking forward to it because we have to win it if we are to get to the playoffs. The whole team want to achieve that.

“We have to forget how Millwall play and the fact that the match is away from home. If we play like we did against Barnsley I think we’ll put the ball in the net and have a massive chance of winning the game.”

And the creative midfielder is adamant that, if The Reds are to reach the top six, it will be as a result of a team effort.

He said: “It’s not about individual performance at the moment – we have to pull ourselves together as a team, build up our spirit and forget about the last few games.

“We have played very well under Billy and we just have to carry on.”
