We Relish These Fixtures

26 September 2012

Lewis McGugan has admitted that Sunday’s match against arch-rivals Derby is ‘what it’s all about’ but says preparations for the game at The City Ground have been no different to normal.

He told Forest Player: “There’s added pressure in and around the place, but we’ve got a lot of experienced players who have played in derby matches before. Everyone knows what this game is about and we’ll go for it on Sunday.

“It’s obvious that the fans will be really looking forward to it, but we’ve just got to take it as another game and try and do what we’ve been working on in training.

“We’ve got to take all the positives we can from Leeds and eliminate the errors we have been making.

“As players, we should relish fixtures like this, it’s what it’s all about. We know what a win would do for the city. All we can do is go out and do our best.”
