Sean O’Driscoll has flown to Kuwait to watch Bader al-Mutawa and Khalid al-Rashidi in match action for their current clubs.
Nottingham Forest were unsuccessful in their bid to secure work permits for Kuwaiti internationals al-Mutawa (pictured), al-Rashidi and Hussain Fadhel. The Reds are considering re-applying for permits in January and as part of that process O’Driscoll has decided to make a personal check on two of them.
The manager, accompanied by Director of Recruitment and Scouting Keith Burt, will watch them in action as al-Mutawa’s Al Qadsia meet al-Rashidi’s Al Arabi later today.
