Dexter Blackstock may currently be unavailable for club duty due to suspension but the Nottingham Forest striker has opened his goal account at international level.Blackstock marked his third appearance for Antigua and Barbuda with a goal in their defeat at the hands of the United States in a World Cup qualifier over the weekend.
The 26 year old, who is currently serving a three-match ban after his sending-off against Derby, bagged a first half goal to level the tie at 1-1 but the US hit back to win 2-1 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
The result ended Antigua and Barbuda’s hopes of qualifying for the 2014 finals. They face Jamaica tomorrow.
Elsewhere, Simon Cox was a member of the Republic of Ireland side humbled 6-1 by Germany.
They will be looking to bounce back tomorrow when they face the Faroe Islands.
