Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce Chris Cohen has pledged his long-term future to the Club.The highly versatile performer has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract, committing him to The Reds until the summer of 2016.
His current deal was due to expire at the end of this season but Cohen had no hesitation in penning a new deal.
Chairman Omar Al Hasawi said: “Chris is an ambitious player and wants to play at the very highest level.
“We share his ambition for Nottingham Forest and it is fantastic news that he wants to play a key role in the future of our great Club.”
Cohen, who launched his career with West Ham, joined Forest from Yeovil in 2007 and has clocked-up more than 200 appearances for the Club.
The 25 year old returned to action earlier this season after almost a year on the sidelines with a serious knee ligament injury and has started the last three games.
