The Reds make the short trip up the M1 to take on Barnsley this Saturday (kick-off 3pm).Sean O’Driscoll’s men earned a very creditable draw away at Blackpool on Tuesday night thanks to a late Dexter Blackstock strike but will be looking to go one better and take all three points from Oakwell.
Barnsley are 17th in the league and come into the game on the back of a 1-1 home draw with high-flying Crystal Palace.
Keith Hill’s men will be hoping for a similar performance to the one which saw them beat Birmingham 5-0 at St Andrews a month ago.
Daniel Ayala is a doubt after sustaining a hamstring injury against Blackpool, Adlene Guedioura will complete his ban after his dismissal against Cardiff and Sam Hutchinson is still injured.
Hill has expressed his desire to bring in a striker before the clash, with Craig Davies (injured) and Mido (unfit) unavailable.
