Several members of the Nottingham Forest squad witnessed Carl Froch’s latest defence of his IBF World super-middleweight title.Lee Camp, Karl Darlow, Elliott Ward and Henri Lansbury were ring-side in the Nottingham Arena on Saturday to see Froch record a third-round knock-out victory Yusaf Mack.
The 35 year old is a Reds fan and regularly attends games at The City Ground when his boxing commitments allow.
Goalkeeper Camp said: “Once again Carl has done the city of Nottingham proud.
“The way he went about his job against Yusaf Mack was really impressive. He didn’t stand a chance and Carl deserves all the plaudits that are coming his way.”
