New Forest loanee Alan Hutton has expressed his excitement after joining from Aston Villa. He yesterday completed a move which will see him stay at The City Ground until January 2.
And the full back, who hasn’t yet made a league appearance this season, exclusively told Forest Player that he was looking forward to the prospect of regular football.
He said: “I first heard about Forest’s interest about 12pm yesterday (Thursday).
“I was obviously happy and I saw it as a good opportunity to play games, so I decided to go for it. The way they play football suits my game so I was excited to come.”
And the Scot, who has started all five of his country’s matches this season, revealed how he had turned to a former team mate for advice ahead of the move.
He said: “I know Jermaine Jenas really well from my time at Spurs and Villa. He told me how good it is here and that obviously helped me with my decision.”
