Changes On The Way?

30 November 2012

Sean O’Driscoll has revealed he is considering making changes to his Nottingham Forest line-up for the visit of Hull to The City Ground tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).

Forest are looking for an immediate response after seeing their four-match unbeaten run come to an end at Ipswich on Tuesday.

And O’Driscoll has told us: “As a manager you consider making changes for every game that comes along.

“When you lose games it’s easier to do than it is when you win games and whether they are right or wrong, you will get judged on what happens.

“It was easy to keep the same team at Ipswich that had beaten Wolves, apart from Dexter Blackstock coming into the side for Simon Cox after his injury.

“People would have been critical if I had made changes for Ipswich and we had produced the same level of performance as we ultimately did with pretty much a near identical team to Wolves. They would have blamed the changes. It’s a real conundrum for managers.”

Jermaine Jenas and Greg Halford are likely to be missing from O’Driscoll’s plans for the third successive game as both men are still carrying calf injuries, while Cox (foot injury) and Radoslaw Majewski (ankle) are definitely ruled out.

Tickets for Saturday’s City Ground date with Hull (kick-off 3pm) are available in-person at the Ticket Office, on-line at or by calling 0871 226 1980 (calls are charged at 10p per minute, mobile rates may vary).
