Chris Gunter has today completed his move to Reading from Nottingham Forest. The Welsh International defender has signed a contract with the Premier League newcomers after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services.
Gunter joined Forest from Tottenham in the summer of 2009 after a successful loan spell at The City Ground. He made more than 150 appearances for the club.
A Forest spokesman said: “Chris has been a magnificent servant for Nottingham Forest but he made it clear that he saw his immediate future in the Premier League.
“Reading matched our valuation of the player and although our new owners tried to persuade him to stay, his heart was clearly set on a move to Reading. We would like to wish him well with his new club.”
