Sean O’Driscoll has been given a quadruple fitness boost ahead of Nottingham Forest’s ‘Kids for a Quid’ game with Burnley at The City Ground tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).Radoslaw Majewski has resumed full training this week and could be in contention, Greg Halford is also close to a return and Daniel Ayala has recovered from a stomach bug.
And The Reds have also been given some encouraging news regarding Simon Cox and his foot injury.
Majewski has missed six games with a calf problem and a similar injury has ruled Halford out of three games.
O’Driscoll said: “Radoslaw was back on the grass on Monday. He has been enthusiastic, as fit as ever and looks like he has never been away.
“That’s a big plus to have him back in the fold. Whether or not he’s going to be back in the squad tomorrow I’m not sure at this stage, but he’s not going to be too far off.
“We’re hopeful that Greg may train today depending on the weather but he’s almost there or thereabouts.
“Daniel is back from his illness and Simon’s injury has settled down really well. It has been a good week.”
