Sean O’Driscoll says Andy Reid is the man defenders hate to play against.Reid created both goals as Forest bounced back from successive defeats with a 2-0 home win over Burnley on Saturday.
Boss O’Driscoll reckons the 30 year old Irishman is in the form of his career and insists the club’s strikers are reaping the rewards.
“He has been terrific all season,” he says.
“Andy is a difficult player to pin down because he doesn’t play really as a wide man and he’s not really a central midfielder.
“He plays in the spaces defenders don’t want to come out and mark because they leave gaps behind.
“If you ask the strikers at our club who they would like to play with I think Andy would be one of the people they pick because he delivers.
“Strikers rely on people giving them the ball and Andy does that consistently really, really well.”
