New Nottingham Forest manager Alex McLeish this evening spoke of his excitement at taking on the top job at The City Ground.The former Rangers, Scotland, Birmingham and Aston Villa boss will start work at the Club tomorrow and will be in The Reds’ dug-out for Saturday’s home game with Crystal Palace (kick-off 3pm).
And he told www.nottinghamforest.co.uk: “I’m really looking forward to working with Nottingham Forest.
“I’ve had time away from the game and now feel refreshed and ready to go.
“The fact that a Club of Forest’s magnitude has offered me a job excites me greatly – it’s a wonderful opportunity.
“I can’t wait to get started and I’m looking forward to meeting the players, talking to them and taking my first training session.”
McLeish will be on the training ground tomorrow morning before meeting the media for the first time as Reds boss.
