Abdulaziz Al Hasawi enjoyed his first taste of match-day atmosphere at The City Ground as Nottingham Forest ran riot against Leeds.Mr Al Hasawi, one of the Club’s principal owners, watched from the Directors’ Box as The Reds turned on the style with a 4-2 Boxing Day win.
They scored three times in seven second half minutes as they came from behind to secure a highly impressive victory.
And Mr Al Hasawi told us: “It’s my first time back at the stadium since the press conference which signalled our purchase of the Club in the summer.
“I really enjoyed myself. The team played very well after a slow start and it’s a fantastic win for us.
“I would like to thanks the fans for the way they got behind the team and wish them a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
“We are working hard. A lot of new players have come into the team and if we continue to play like we did against Leeds I’m sure there’s reason to feel confident about the future.”
The transfer window re-opens in January and Mr Al Hasawi added: “We will be led by the manager – if he wants to bring players in we will try to help him.”
