Nottinghamshire Community Foundation

15 August 2012

Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation (NCF) is to be its charity partner for the next two years.

NCF are a local philanthropic charity that gives grants to local charities and communities on behalf of local donors.

The Club are committed to focusing their charitable support in the Nottinghamshire area and the link-up with NCF underlines that.

Forest’s Chief Executive Mark Arthur said: “As a Club we are committed to focussing our charitable support in the Nottingham area and we believe the link-up with NCF underlines that commitment.”

There will be two aspects to the partnership between Forest and NCT - the first being local charities and community groups, who will have the opportunity to showcase their work on a home match day.

What’s more, Forest’s first team squad will be getting involved with each of them selecting a local charity or organisation to support for the season.

Phase two of the link-up is The N Factor, which aims to showcase and provide support for the county’s young and aspiring talents.

The iconic City Ground will provide the match-day stage for talented individuals to show over 20,000 people exactly what they are made of.
