Henri Lansbury will have to wait to make his Nottingham Forest debut.
The midweek signing from Arsenal is nursing a slight ankle injury and will not be involved in Saturday’s Championship encounter with Charlton at The City Ground (kick-off 3pm).
Lansbury was nursing the problem when he checked-in at The Reds but it’s hoped he will be ready to make his first appearance for the club after the international break.
Manager Sean O’Driscoll explained: “Henri has got a little bit of a problem with his ankle. We knew that before we signed him and he probably won’t be fit until after the break.
“He’s not going to go away on international duty with England Under 21s. We’re going to monitor him here but touch wood he should hopefully be okay for the Birmingham game in a fortnight.”
Marcus Tudgay is Forest’s only fitness doubt as he’s still nursing the groin problem that has forced him to miss two games.
Sam Hutchinson will return to O’Driscoll’s squad having been unavailable for Tuesday’s Capital One Cup clash with Wigan due to the terms of his loan from Chelsea, as will Lewis McGugan, who was not risked due to a slight thigh injury.
Tickets for tomorrow’s game are available in person from the Forest Ticket Office; on-line at www.nffcretail.com or by calling 0871 226 1980 (calls charged at 10p per minute, mobile rates may vary).
