Nottingham Forest Under 18s returned to the top of the Professional Development League Two table with a 3-2 victory at Crewe Alexandra.
Gareth Holmes named a trialist in his starting line-up and the youngster responded by putting Forest into a two-goal lead but Crewe hit back well and levelled the scores in the second half.
The Reds weren't to be disappointed though as Junior Powell scored the winner with 15 minutes to play to send Forest back to the top of the table.
