Under 18s: Forest 1-1 Crystal Palace

14 April 2018

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

Nottingham Forest Under 18s' chances of reaching the Professional Development League play-offs came to an end on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

Jake Wigley's side had an outside chance of reaching the top two but the draw at the Nigel Doughty Academy confirmed that they won't be able to finish in the play-off positions with one game to go.

Victor Sodeinde put The Reds ahead in the second half from the penalty spot but a late strike by Drew Matthews saw Palace leave with a point.

Forest finish their season with a game against Birmingham City at the Nigel Doughty Academy on Friday 20th April (kick-off 12pm).

Forest: Shelvey, Richardson (Asare 61'), Bondswell, Barnes, Stewart (Mutoti 65'), Harbottle (Ram 51'), En-Neyah, Trialist, Sodeinde, Dekel, Mighten

Unused subs: Liburd-Hines, Andrew

Goal: Sodeinde pen 57'

Bookings: Richardson 52', Trialist 67', Barnes 79', Bondswell 83'
