Nottingham Forest completed the signing of goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic on a two-year deal on 24 August 2016.

The Serbian international, who has been a regular for his country, has arrived at The City Ground from Israeli side Maccabi Haifa.

Stojkovic’s career highlight to date was representing Serbia at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The 33-year-old played in all three group matches, keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory over Germany.

At club level Stojkovic has claimed multiple honours with his native side Partizan, winning three league titles and a domestic cup over a three-year period. He has also had a taste of English football before with a short loan spell at then-Premier League side Wigan Athletic under Roberto Martinez.

In 2014 the goalkeeper signed a three-year deal with Maccabi Haifa but has now chosen to make the switch to Trentside.
