Nottingham Forest Under 23s' captain Joe Worrall is a proud product of the club's academy system after signing an initial two-year contract with The Reds at the age of 14.

The highly-regarded central defender has gone on to become a regular for both the Under 18s and the Under 23s and his obvious leadership skills have seen him take the captain's armband for the latter this season.

In a bid to aid his development, Worrall spent the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at then-League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge and made a dream debut for The Daggers in their FA Cup third-round tie against Everton at Goodison Park.

The defender enjoyed his time in East London, even finding the net in the 2-2 draw at Newport County, and he has made breakthrough in the Forest first team, making his debut away at Reading and his home debut against Queens Park Rangers at The City Ground.
