The striker proved pivotal in Forest’s survival last season as he emerged as the focal point of The Reds’ attack, finishing the season with eight goals in 16 starts.
He also earned his first international cap for Antigua and Barbuda in a 4-0 defeat to Trinidad and Tobago in May.
In November 2010 he was forced to put his career on hold after suffering an horrendous knee injury against Cardiff, before successfully undergoing major surgery.
He moved to The City Ground on loan from QPR during the 2008-09 season and his goals were, once again, a major factor in Forest's successful battle against relegation.
He completed a permanent switch soon afterwards and bagged 14 goals in his first full season at the club.
Blackstock started his career with Southampton, where he played alongside David McGoldrick. He made 28 appearances for the Saints and had loan spells at Plymouth and Derby before joining QPR in 2006.
Born in Oxford, he was capped twice by England at Under 21 level.
