Newark-based Forest fans are being offered the chance to leave the car at home on a match-day.The route is: starts from Northgate Station from 9.05am( running every hour) until 9.05pm, the bus will then pick up at the following stops:
• Morrison's then through
• Farndon village before picking up at
• East Stoke,
• RAF Newton,
• Cropwell Road,
• Trent Bridge,
• Victoria Embankment,
• Midland Station then finally terminating at Mount Street in Nottingham City Centre.
For the return journey the bus will leave Mount Street at 5 past the hour picking up 13 minutes past the hour at Trent Bridge. The drop points will be the same as the outgoing journey. The last bus back is at 22.13pm.
The fare for using this service is £4 single and £6 return. OAP passes will give you free travel access on weekends and during week matches from 9.30am.
If you are coming from the East, West or North of Nottingham city centre, then connecting bus and tram services may also provide an option for getting to the ground by bus and avoiding the worst of the traffic.
