Nottingham Forest's new season in the Totesport.com reserve league has got off to a disappointing start.

The Reds second string were beaten 4-1 by Sheffield United at Sheffield F.C. in their opening game of the campaign.

Forest found themselves 4-0 down after just 23 minutes, while Joel Lynch was dismissed in the second half after collecting two bookings.

Lewis McGugan grabbed a consolation goal 20 minutes from time.
