Sheffield Wednesday 0 - 1 Nottingham Forest

A late show by Nottingham Forest's reserves kept alive their hopes of securing the Totesport.com central division title.

A goal five minutes from time from Algerian Under 20 international Hamza Bencherif secured Forest a valuable victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Bencherif grabbed what proved to be the only goal of a game of few chances - although victory was no more than John Pemberton's men deserved.

Forest must now win their final game of the season to keep alive their hopes of overhauling Shrewsbury at the top of the central division.
