.....no matter what you've done.

Most people think Joey Barton's had more than enough chances in the world of football. Some think that David James has more than got rid of his 'calamity' name tag. There are those that wrote David Beckham's international career off. Some would even say that Tony Adams has been to hell and back with his 'demons', now look at him?

Considering all that, i still can't imagine that in 2007, when Diego Maradona was lying in his hospital bed being treated for hepatitis and effects of alcohol abuse, someone would have placed a bet on him being named national coach of his home land, Argentina?

Guess what? This is the world of football baby! Diego has turned his life around, so he says, claiming he's been free of Drugs for nearly three years and that he hasn't touched a drop of the good stuff since that hospital visit in April 07. During his stay in the Buenos Aires Hospital he was rumoured, by the local press, to have been dead, on three separate occasions. I guess this really is a comeback!

Maradona, on the field at least, will always be remembered in England for two different reasons. The first, call it clever or call it cheating, the "Hand of God" incident during our game with Argentina at the World Cup of 86'. The second memorable moment was produced in that very same game, this time Diego showed the England team and the rest of the world just what he was capable of. Beating no less than 5 England players, including the class of Hoddle and Reid on his way to one of the all time greatest goals.

So, if someone who once chased Photographers from his home with a loaded shotgun, whilst being off his skull on coke, can have a second chance, then there's hope for us all. Mmmmmm, that gets me thinking?

1. Would we all give David Platt another go at managing us here at the City Ground? - Not on your blooming nelly!

2. Would you sign Stan Collymore on, tomorrow, if he turned up with his boots? - Admit it, he's probably still better than most Strikers out there today, so yes.

3. Would we invite "the Ginger Mourinho" back once he's been sacked at Bolton? - Close one this. I feel that 75% of forest fans would say no but i thought we were a little harsh on the bloke. (if your swearing at the screen right now, i do understand)

4. Should Ron Atkinson be allowed back on our televisions? - Oooh, no brainer, NO. Pompous, Racist and over rated, end of.

5. Would Forest have gone on to be the greatest team in the world if Cloughie and Taylor had made up, instead of falling out? - I'll leave that one open for you all to debate.
