The Polish international midfielder is on loan with The Reds for the season from Polonia Warsaw.

He had been on Forest's radar for some time and former boss Colin Calderwood actually tried to land him in 2008 as the club prepared for their return to the Championship.

But they finally got their man 12 months later and Majewski is looking forward to the chance to prove himself in the English game.

He is already widely regarded as one of Poland's brightest talents and had been capped five times by his national team by the time he arrived at The City Ground.

He wasted little time in making an impression in a red shirt, scoring after just 93 seconds of his first appearance in a pre-season game against Rushden & Diamonds.
