The Academy product took his bow on the first team scene at The City Ground last season - albeit as a 90th minute substitute in a Championship win over Barnsley.
A talented left winger, he has represented England at Under 17 level - he helped them reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup in 2007 - and has been capped at Under 18 level.
For Forest he has had established himself as a key figure at reserve level and was named 'Academy Player of the Year' at the end of the 2007-08 season.
