Clubs:Reading, Maidenhead Utd, Wycombe, Wycombe (loan), Swansea City, Cheltenham
Position: Striker

The speedy striker was again beset by fitness problems last season, which restricted him to 28 starts in the Championship.

He scored five league goals and also bagged two in the FA Cup - including a stunning strike against Manchester City that earned him the 'Player of the Third Round' award.

'Tys' also scored the first goal of Billy Davies' managerial reign at The City Ground, in a 2-0 win over Charlton at The Valley in January.

He signed a new contract last term, pledging his long-term future to the club and will be hoping for better luck on the injury front in the months ahead.

He launched his career with his home-town club Reading but was largely deployed on the left side of midfield at first team level, while operating as a striker for the reserves.

His career gathered pace at Wycombe, where he flourished after being given the chance to operate as a striker on a regular basis.

Tyson joined The Reds on loan initially in November '05 before completing a £675,000 switch to The City Ground during the transfer window the following January.

Forest debut: November 19th, 2005 v Southend United (League 1)

My First....

My first team was Woodley Saints Under 8s. We were awesome - so much so that we were the first team to win the Berkshire treble of league and two cups.
The first game I went to was Manchester United against QPR at Loftus Road. I'm a United fan but sat among the home supporters and remember being spat upon as I celebrated a United goal. I was only a kid and some people were spitting on the back of a hat I was wearing. It just goes to show what lovely people there are in the world. I can't remember the score but Paul Ince scored with an overhead kick.
My first league appearance was against Bury at Gigg Lane. Reading were in what is now known as League One and we drew 1-1. I've still got the shirt I wore in the game at home.
My first roommate was Jamie Cureton. When I was a kid at Reading I used to get thrown in with anyone who didn't have someone to share with. Later on James Harper became my regular roommate.
My first influence was my family - in particular my two older brothers and my dad. The player I was influenced most by when I was a kid was Ryan Giggs. Something tells me I'm not the only player who grew up admiring Giggs and what he achieved.
My first position was on the left of a three-man front line. I played there until I was about 14 and then played as a more orthodox centre forward.
The first league ground I played on was Reading's Elm Park. I think it was a district game before a schoolboy international. It was a 30-minute game but I've no idea what the score was.
My first autograph escapes me. I remember my dad telling me to run on the pitch at Plough Lane to get John Barnes' autograph when Wimbledon were playing Liverpool. I didn't get very far because a steward heard him and stopped me.
My first goal was for Swansea against Darlington. I was 19 at the time and it was a screamer - with the worst ever celebration. I cut inside from the right and hit it with my left foot into the top corner.
My first pay packet was £200 for a week's work as a tree surgeon. I had been on trial at Ipswich but didn't get it in and was waiting to hear back from Luton. I did a couple of months and the guy whose company it was gave me a bonus at the end of it so I could buy myself some football boots. I was buzzing.
My first disappointment was having to leave Reading to further my career. It was my decision to join Wycombe but it was still tough to leave my home-town club and all I had ever really known. In hindsight it proved to be the right thing to do but it was difficult at the time.
My first car was a Mercedes A class. I've had a few since then and now drive an Audi Q7.
My first album was 'Bobby' by Bobby Brown, which had 'Two Can Play That Game' on it. Unfortunately, I haven't still got it.
My first holiday abroad was to Barbados when I was eight. I'm half Bajan and we went to see my grandparents and great grandmother one Christmas and it was the best time of my life, especially once my grandfather had assured me that Santa did actually visit the island.
