1945
- Many happy returns to Ian Storey-Moore who is 67 today - tempus fugit. It doesn't seem all that long ago when he was helping to knock Everton out of the F.A. Cup with his heart-stopping last minute hat-trick goal.

1975 - Martin O'Neill gained another N. Ireland cap when he played against England in Belfast in a 0-0 draw.

1978 - Two more caps for Forest players:- Kenny Burns and John Robertson (sub) were playing for Scotland against Wales at Hampden Park - a 1-1

1987 - A game of 'American football' at the City Ground. We've staged the lot now, Rugby League, Rugby Union, and a game of football with a Rugby Ball - thank goodness the ground isn't big enough for Australian Rules Football.

1995 - We played in a match at St Andrews, Birmingham to celebrate the hosts' winning the then 2nd Division championship (pre-Premier League days). 10,742 spectators turned up to watch us win 4-1 with our goals coming from Stone, Lee, Collymore and Bull. A few days after that, the team was on it's way to the Far East to play a Singapore X1 (3-1), Adelaide City (1-0) and Western Australia (0-1), but more of that in due course.

2009 - According to the Nottingham Evening Post, the Tottenham Hotspur boss, Harry Redknapp dismissed any talk of Wales full-back Chris Gunter joining Forest on a permanent basis. Chris, who will be 20 years old in July, had enjoyed a successful loan spell at the City Ground had indicated that he would not be averse to another loan period.

2009 - It was announced that reserve coach John Pemberton and fitness coach Ryland Morgans have left the club after Billy Davies reorganised his backroom team.

2010 - Season ticket prices were announced for the forthcoming 2010-2011 season. They varied from £535 (centre main stand) to £355 (Lower tier wings on the Brian Clough stand) for new applicants, with a £26 reduction for existing holders.
