Grant's Warmed Up And Ready

Grant Holt celebrates scoring against Charlton

Grant Holt believes Nottingham Forest's F.A. Cup win over Charlton was the ideal preparation for a reinvigorated promotion push.

The Reds cast aside their recent indifferent league form by beating Premiership strugglers Charlton 2-0 to set-up a dream fourth round meeting with Chelsea.

Forest, who have slipped to third place in the League One table after claiming just four points from their last five games, face in-form Yeovil at The City Ground.

And Holt, the Club's leading 13-goal scorer, told Forest World : "The Charlton game was almost like a friendly - a warm-up for the game against Yeovil and what's to come in League One.

"The league is our number one priority and the F.A. Cup a bonus, albeit a really nice one to have.

"As it happened we played well against Charlton and had reason to celebrate but the league is our main priority and we're in a really positive frame of mind going into this weekend's game."
