Gary Megson wants his Nottingham Forest players to start making life easier for themselves at The City Ground.
Forest, who will put their four-match unbeaten run in League One on the line tomorrow when they entertain Tranmere (kick-off 3pm), have fallen behind in their last two games in front of their own supporters
They battled back to beat Bristol City 10 days ago and then claimed a point from the visit of Blackpool on Tuesday.
But it's a worrying trait for Megson, who is keen to see his men tighten up when playing at home.
Ahead of the visit of Tranmere, Megson told us: "We battled against Blackpool but we've got make sure that's not the only thing we've got going for us because we didn't play at all well.
"We hit the crossbar and the post and need to start converting those chances and we need to stop going a goal down at home.
"That's a massive thing for us because conceding the first goal gives the opposition something to hang on to and makes life difficult for us."
Forest produced a below-par performance against Blackpool and had to rely on a late goal from skipper Ian Breckin to claim a point.
And Megson added: "We need to start winning games again. We won two games on the trot against Rotherham and Bristol City and did very well.
"Then we went to Swansea and should have won rather than drawn and now it remains to be seen whether the way we performed against Blackpool the other night was a blip or not."
* Supporters are reminded that tomorrow's game is Forest's first 'Kids for a Quid' fixture of the campaign. It means that youngsters aged under 16 can watch Gary Megson's men in action for just £1.
Demand for tickets is expected to be high, so fans are urged to buy early to avoid queues on the day of the game.
