Planning Meeting

Posted on: Tue 03 May 2005

Gary Megson

Manager Gary Megson will meet the Nottingham Forest board later this week as the Club draws up plans for League One.

Forest's relegation from the Coca-Cola Championship was confirmed on Saturday as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

The Reds will find themselves playing outside the top two tiers of English football next season for the first time in 54 years.

And Chief Executive Mark Arthur today confirmed: "The board will be meeting with Gary Megson later this week and we will draw up plans for life in League One.

"Without doubt, there needs to be wholesale changes on the playing front to make us competitive and that starts now.

"Gary will then be speaking to the players about their futures and the timing will be up to him."
