Posted on: Mon 23 Aug 2010

Nottingham Forest are mourning the death of Tony Hughes, who was the club's team coach driver for more than a decade.

Mr Hughes, who was 67, passed away yesterday after a long struggle with illness.

He took over as driver in 1991 and was behind the wheel of the team coach until his retirement in 2007.

Chief Executive Mark Arthur said: "Tony was an enormously popular member of staff at The City Ground and will be remembered with great affection by many people.

"I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends at this sad time."
